Playbill.com's series features actors commenting on their recent theatregoing experiences, what productions they're looking forward to and more.

Here, via email, we hear from singing actor Eric Michael Krop, who co-stars with Anthony Rapp in the new short musical film "Grind: The Movie," which will be available for online viewing beginning Oct. 1. The soundtrack, featuring music by Derek Gregor and lyrics by Selda Sahin, will be released on iTunes Aug. 26.

What show recently impressed you?
A few months ago I saw the revival of Cabaret. I got into the theatre scene a little late and have been playing a lot of catch up when it comes to knowledge of shows. I went in to the show only knowing a few of the songs, and I left a wiser person. Cabaret is a perfectly crafted musical. Alan Cumming reminded what it's like to give a hundred and ten percent, and the current version's ending left me in tears.

What production are you most excited to see?
On the Town! I love seeing friends in shows, and I grew up on the movie. It's a true classic to me.

What play/musical would you most like to revive on Broadway, and which role would you want to play?
The Who's Tommy. I just finished playing the narrator/Tommy at Alpine Theatre Project in Whitefish, Montana. It's always been one of my favorite shows, and it's one of the only scores I know every part by heart. I would love to do that on Broadway.

What are your current/upcoming projects?
Currently I am working with Derek Gregor and Selda Sahin (the songwriters of "Grind") on a full-length album. We wrote many songs together and are recording in the next couple of months. I'm also going to be featured on the new Joey Contreras pop album, singing his song "Love Wildly." The rest is all up to the universe. I think it's important to be available to change and be willing to say yes to things.
