Presented under the umbrella title The Josephine Hart Poetry Week, the season will run Oct. 8-12 at the West End's Arts Theatre, directed by Grandage and with each evening introduced and hosted by a leading figure in the arts world - Melvyn Bragg, David Hare, Richard Eyre, Alan Yentob and Tom Stoppard reading from the late Hart's writing on the poets.
The evenings will center on the works of T.S. Eliot (Oct. 8), Auden (Oct. 9), the World War I Poets (Oct. 10), Larkin (Oct. 11) and the American Poets (Oct. 12).
In a press statement, Grandage commented, "I'm thrilled to continue our collaboration with the Josephine Hart Poetry Foundation. It's wonderful to continue Josephine's legacy to hear the work of these great poets in such distinguished company. The week of poetry at the Arts Theatre will be presented with all tickets at £10 continuing our commitment to make work of the highest quality accessible to everyone."
The season continues the collaboration between Grandage, his executive producer James Bierman and The Josephine Hart Poetry Foundation, which began when they programmed two seasons of Hart's poetry whilst artistic director and executive producer, respectively, at the Donmar Warehouse.
