Atlantic Theater Company will present the world premiere of Tony nominee Stephen Adly Guirgis' new play Between Riverside And Crazy beginning July 10 Off-Broadway.

Opening night is July 31 at the The Linda Gross Theater. The limited engagement runs through Aug. 16.

Directed by Austin Pendleton, the cast will include Victor Almanzar ("11:55 Holyoke"), Elizabeth Canavan (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Little Flower of East Orange), Rosal Colón (A Free Man of Color, The Motherf***er with the Hat), Liza Colon-Zayas (Water by the Spoonful, "Rescue Me"), Tony nominee Stephen McKinley Henderson (A Raisin in the Sun, Fences), Michael Rispoli ("The Sopranos," Tartuffe) and Ray Anthony Thomas (Race, Water by the Spoonful).

"City Hall is demanding more than his signature, the Landlord wants him out, the liquor store is closed — and the Church won't leave him alone," press notes state. "For ex-cop & recent widower Walter 'Pops' Washington and his recently paroled son Junior, when the struggle to hold on to one of the last, great rent-stabilized apartments on Riverside Drive collides with old wounds, sketchy new houseguests, and a final ultimatum, it seems the Old Days are dead and gone — after a lifetime living between Riverside and Crazy."

Guirgis' works include Our Lady of 121st Street, Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Little Flower of East Orange and The Motherf***er with the Hat.

The production will feature scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Alexis Forte, lighting design by Keith Parham and original music and sound design by Ryan Rumery.

The Linda Gross Theater is located at 336 West 20th St. Visit atlantictheater.org for more information.
