Terrence McNally, Bobby Steggert, Judith Ivey, Brian Murray, John Cullum Set for Golden Shamrock Gala

Gingold Theatrical Group will present the Golden Shamrock Gala, honoring playwright Terrence McNally and actor Brian Murray, March 17 at the Players Club.

The evening will begin at 6 PM with a reception and dinner; performance will follow at 8 PM.

Golden Shamrock Gala will feature performances from Tony Award winners John Cullum (The Scottsboro Boys, Urinetown) and Judith Ivey (The Lady With All the Answers, The Glass Menagerie) as well as Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime). The event chair is Kate Mulgrew (Off-Broadway’s Tea at Five).

McNally won Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical for Ragtime and Kiss of the Spider Woman. He was also nominated for his work on The Full Monty. Most recently, his play Master Class was seen on Broadway with Tony Award winner Tyne Daly. Master Class will begin performances Jan. 21 in the West End.

Murray is a three-time Tony Award nominee for his performances in The Crucible, The Little Foxes and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. He has also been seen on Broadway in The Importance of Being Earnest, Mary Stuart, The Rivals and Uncle Vanya, among others.
