The York Theatre Company will present the Off-Broadway premiere of The Holiday Guys in Happy Merry Hanu-Mas, a holiday variety show from Tony Award nominee Marc Kudisch and Drama Desk nominee Jeffry Denman, for a limited, two-week engagement beginning Dec. 18 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's.

Timothy Splain (A Minister's Wife) will serve as pianist and music director of the The Holiday Guys, which will continue through Dec. 31.

Here's how the show is billed: "Whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas, you'll enjoy Kudisch and Denman, the self-proclaimed Holiday Guys, who bring their unique sound and irreverent point of view to one of the most infectious and joyful holiday concerts you'll ever experience. With a 'Smothers Brothers-like folksiness,' the Holiday Guys will remind you of what the holidays are really about in a hilarious, fun-filled 80 minutes of song and cheer."

Special guests will also make appearances at every performance and will be announced at a later date.

Prior to arriving at the York Theatre Company, The Holiday Guys in Happy Merry Hanu-Mas will tryout at Monmouth University in Monmouth, NJ (Nov. 29-Dec. 2); MusicalFare Theatre in Buffalo, NY (Dec. 6 -9) and at the Signature Theater in Arlington, VA (Dec. 11-16).

As previously announced, a recording of The Holiday Guys in Happy Merry Hanu-Mas will be released by Yellow Sound Label. The album will include holiday classics such as "Do You Hear What I Hear," "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," "Jingle Bells," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" and "Holly Jolly Christmas," among others — in the "Holiday Guys Style" — featuring original arrangements by Kudisch, Denman, Dan Lipton, Ross Patterson and Splain. Visit YellowSoundLabel.com

Happy Merry Hanu-Mas was previewed at the Gotham Comedy Club in December 2009, and had segments presented at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles in 2010. The show was seen in 2011 at MusicalFare Theatre in Buffalo NY.

Denman's Broadway credits include Irving Berlin's White Christmas, The Producers, How To Succeed and Cats as well as the Off-Broadway production of Yank! and the Encores! concert of Face the Music.
