27 Dec 2012
The pilot of "The Farm," the canceled spin-off series of "The Office," will be incorporated in an upcoming episode of the popular NBC series in 2013, according to TVLine.com.
"The Office" showrunner Greg Daniels confirmed that a tweaked version of "The Farm" will air before the series finale in 2013.
"We’re not going to air exactly what it was, because it has certain aspects that were appropriate for a pilot of a new show," he said. "We're going to shoot a little additional material to make it fit into the season more."
"The Office" features Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Clark Duke, Kate Flannery, Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, Angela Kinsey, John Krasinski, Jake Lacy, Paul Lieverstein, Oscar Nuñez, Craig Robinson, Phyllis Smith, Catherine Tate and Rainn Wilson.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
