Argentine actress Elena Roger stars in the title role of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, which plays Broadway's Marquis Theatre. Here, Roger and her co-stars, Ricky Martin and Michael Cerveris, record the cast album.

The production, directed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage, stars Grammy winner Martin (Les Miserables) as Che, Tony Award winner Cerveris (Assasins, Sweeney Todd) as Juan Perón, Max von Essen (Dance of the Vampires, Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar) as Magaldi and Rachel Potter (The Addams Family) as the Mistress. Christina DeCicco (Sister Act) is the alternate/standby for Eva Perón.

Evita has music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Rice.

The revival features songs from the original staging, such as "Don’t Cry for Me Argentina," "Buenos Aires," "Rainbow High" and "High Flying Adored," as well as "You Must Love Me," which was penned for the 1996 film adaptation.
