Cast members from the new Broadway musical Big Fish, including Tony Award nominees Kate Baldwin and Bobby Steggert, created a message for students at the University of Mississippi, who were met with homophobic slurs during a recent performance of The Laramie Project at the school.

As previously reported by Playbill.com, the Oct. 1 performance of University of Mississippi's production of Moisés Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project's The Laramie Project, based on the 1998 murder of University of Wyoming gay student Matthew Shepard, was disrupted by a group of college football players, who called out homophobic slurs from the audience.
