The Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe musical Camelot opened at Broadway's Majestic Theatre Dec. 3, 1960. In celebration of the piece, Playbill.com looks back at performances and numbers from the musical.
Camelot starred Julie Andrews and Robert Goulet in his Broadway debut. The production ran for 873 performances and took home four 1961 Tony Awards, including Best Actor for Richard Burton.
