Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine was among the artists celebrated as part of the 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, which were broadcast Dec. 29 on CBS.

MacLaine ("Terms of Endearment, "The Apartment," "Sweet Charity," "Postcards from the Edge") has offered three Broadway solo concerts.
