THE SCREENING ROOM: Celebrating the Tony and Pulitzer-Winning Musical Rent (Video)

The Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical Rent, a work that broke ground in the contemporary musical theatre, opened on Broadway 18 years ago on April 29, 1996. Here, celebrates the iconic piece by the late Jonathan Larson.

Larson's legacy lives on in the multitude of productions of Rent, which recently enjoyed an Off-Broadway revival at New World Stages.
