19 Dec 2012
The original production of The Music Man opened Dec. 19, 1957, featuring Tony-winning performances from Robert Preston and Barbara Cook. It won the 1958 Tony for Best Musical and enjoyed a 1,375-performance run.
Playbill.com has gathered videos from the film and television adaptations, as well as concert performances and a special clip from "Family Guy" to mark the occasion.
