THE SCREENING ROOM: "What If Life Were More Like Theatre?": Watch the Tony Awards Opening Number (Video)
10 Jun 2012
Last year, Neil Patrick Harris claimed the Tonys were “Not Just For Gays Anymore.” This year, he said they’re “50 Shades of Gay”! Watch the opening musical number at the 2012 awards ceremony, in which he asks, “What If Life Were More Like Theatre?”
Aside from Harris, the opening number of the 66th Annual Tony Awards featured Tony winner Patti LuPone (Gypsy), Amanda Seyfried (“Les Miserables”), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and an appearance from the Broadway-bound Annie, among others.
