, the new musical comedy that boasts Tony Award winner A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder Jefferson Mays inhabiting eight different members of the doomed D'Ysquith family, officially opened on Broadway Nov. 17 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder premiered last season in a co-production by Connecticut's Hartford Stage and the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. Broadway previews began Oct. 22.
The musical has a book by
Robert L. Freedman, music by Steven Lutvak and lyrics by Freedman and Lutvak. Darko Tresnjak directs, and Peggy Hickey choreographs.
The cast also features
Bryce Pinkham ( Love's Labour's Lost, Ghost), Lisa O'Hare, Lauren Worsham, Jane Carr, Pamela Bob, Joanna Glushak, Eddie Korbich, Jeff Kready, Mark Ledbetter, Jennifer Smith, Price Waldman and Catherine Walker.
