Here Lies Love, the David Byrne-Fatboy Slim musical currently running at Off-Broadway's Public Theater, will receive its U.K. premeire at the new Dorfman Theatre at London's National Theatre. Tickets for the London run are now on sale.

It will begin performances there Sept. 30 prior to an official opening Oct. 13, for a continuous run through Jan. 8, 2015. In a newsletter to fans, writer Byrne revealed that discounted "rush" tickets will be available for dates a week ahead of time in London.

Byrne also gave an update on progress of the London production, which will incorporate an extra balcony for the immersive production.

"I was there in London last weekend—a group of us were in town to do some casting (we were also in Manila earlier)—and it went very well! The cast looks, sounds and dances terrifically," he wrote.

Casting is still to be announced.

According to press materials, the show "traces the astonishing journey of Imelda Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines, from her meteoric rise to power to descent into infamy and disgrace." The new Dorfman Theatre is transformed into a pulsating club for an immersive theatrical event which combines heart-pounding beats with adrenaline-fuelled choreography and 360-degree staging.

As in New York, spectators sitting in the pit performance area will stand and dance with the actors during the show. There will be seating available in the galleries.

The musical features concept and lyrics by Byrne (founding member of the band Talking Heads and creator of the record label Luaka Pop) and music by Byrne and Fatboy Slim (also known as Norman Cook, who is a Grammy Award-winning DJ, musician and record producer and first rose to prominence in the 1980s as bassist of the indie rock band The Housemartins, and went on to form the band, Beats International). They previously collaborated in 2008 with Dizzee Rascal on The Brighton Port Authority. There is additional music by Tom Gandey and J Pardo.

The musical is directed by Alex Timbers (currently represented on Broadway by Rocky), with choreography by Annie-B Parson, set design by David Korins, costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting by Justin Townsend, sound by M. L. Dogg and Cody Spencer, and projection design by Peter Nigrini. The music supervisor is Kimberly Grigsby; Justin Levine is the collaborating music producer, and the music editor is Matt Stine. Here Lies Love is presented by special arrangement with Joey Parnes and EMURSIVE.
