A musical presentation of the international hit Les Misérables, the acclaimed adaption of Victor Hugo’s famous tale of Jean Valjean, will be presented Feb. 7-8 and 14-15 at 7 PM at UNLV’s Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
The Las Vegas events will be led by musical director Bill Fayne. Andrew Wright, head of Ragtag Entertainment, produces.
The evenings will benefit UNLV’s Performing Arts Center and School of the Arts in addition to Golden Rainbow, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and financial assistance to those with HIV and AIDS living in Southern Nevada.
The cast will include Tim Molyneux as Jean Valjean (Feb. 7-8), Randal Keith as Jean Valjean (Feb. 14-15), Benjamin Loewy as Javert (Feb. 7-8), Carnell Johnson as Javert (Feb. 14-15), Ellie Smith as Eponine, Bruce Block as Thenardier, Kellie Wright as Madame Thenardier and Ayler Evan as Enjolras. The ensemble will include Alex Mendoza, Cyndi Lee, Ian Gargantiel and Marco Varela.
