Tony nominee Andrea McArdle presents a holiday concert, entitled The Sounds of the Season, at Florida's The Abbey Dec. 17 at 8 PM.
She will offer a second concert Dec. 18 at 8 PM, performing holiday favorites as well as Broadway melodies from Oliver!, Annie, Meet Me in St. Louis and more.
"I can think of no better way to ring in the holiday season than with the amazing Andrea McArdle," artistic director Kenny Howard said in a previous statement. "We are delighted to welcome a Broadway icon to The Abbey!"
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
