Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, who currently stars in the title role of Broadway's Cinderella, will appear on an upcoming episode of the CBS drama series "Elementary."
A representative for the production confirmed to Playbill.com that Osnes recently filmed an episode of the crime drama, which is set to air in October. Osnes also tweeted a photograph of herself on set.
Osnes' Bonnie & Clyde co-star, Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan, was recently announced to guest star on "Elementary." He will play Joey Castoro, the son of the surgical patient who died in Joan Watson's (Lucy Liu) care. Jordan is also slated to appear in an October episode.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
