Tony Award winner Judith Light and Tony nominee Adrienne Barbeau are scheduled for upcoming television appearances, according to TVLine.com.
Light, a 2012 Tony Award winner for her performance in Other Desert Cities, will join the second season of TNT's "Dallas," which is scheduled to return Jan. 28, 2013. She will play an "authoritative and controlling" woman who fights to protect the people she loves.
Light won the Tony for her work as Silda Grauman in Other Desert Cities and was Tony-nominated in 2011 for her performance in Lombardi. Her other Broadway credits include A Doll's House and Herzl.
Barbeau, who was Tony-nominated for her performance as Betty Rizzo in Broadway's Grease, will appear on the ABC drama "Revenge." She has been cast as Victoria's mother, Mama Harper, described as "somebody who knows how to use people."
Barbeau has also been seen on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
