Urban Stages remounts its production of Greg Kalleres’ biting comedy Honky, which officially opens Oct. 27 following previews that began Oct. 22.

Directed by Luke Harlan, the production continues through Nov. 17.

The cast comprises Scott Barrow, Philip Callen, Dave Droxler, Danielle Faitelson, Anthony Gaskins, DeLance Minefee, Reynaldo Piniella and Arie Bianca Thompson.

"A black teenager is shot for his 'Sky Max' shoes," according to press notes. "Sales triple among white teens. Are ghetto-glorifying commercials to blame or the CEO that only sees dollar signs? Either way, a new cure for racism promises to solve everything and advertises, 'If you don’t think you need it, you’re probably a racist!'"

The production also features set design by Roman Tatarowicz, lighting design by Miriam Nilofa Crowe, sound design by Brandon Wolcott, projection design by Caite Hevner and costume design by Sarah Thea Swafford.

Show times are Tuesday-Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 3 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 5 PM. Running time is an intermissionless 90 minutes.

Tickets are $40 and are available at Smarttix.com or by calling (212) 868-4444.
