The musical is by Joe Leonardo and Tony Award winner David Zippel (lyricist and co-librettist) and Jonathan Sheffer (composer).
The creation Once in a Lifetime is the subject of Hart's memoir, "Act One," which has been adapted into a play written and directed by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine. Act One begins performances March 20 on Broadway at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
Going Hollywood's cast will include Vicki Lewis (Damn Yankees, Chicago), Adam Wylie (Wicked, Into the Woods), Anneliese van der Pol (Beauty and the Beast, Vanities) and Tim Martin Gleason (The Phantom of the Opera). Leonardo will direct.
