Victor Garber Signs On for Television Drama "Power"

Tony and Emmy Award nominee Victor Garber has joined the cast of the new drama sereis "Power," which will premiere on Starz later this year, according to Deadline.com.
"The Good Wife" creator Courtney Kemp Agboh conceived the new series about James "Ghost" Patrick, a successful New York City nightclub owner who wants to build an empire. However, "Ghost" hides an ugly secret: The nightclub is a front for a lucrative drug network that serves the wealthy and powerful.
Omari Hardwick will play James "Ghost" Patrick, with Garber (Present Laughter, Damn Yankees, Little Me, "Alias") as another affluent New York City club owner. Also cast is Sonya Walger, who will portray Garber's wife.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton and Randall Emmett executive produce the series.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
