After a premiere at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival this September, Yale MFA alum company Old Sound Room will present their adaptation of author and graphic novelist Neil Gaiman's short stories – October in the Chair & Other Fragile Things – Oct. 29-Nov. 2 at the American Theater of Actors.

The production is presented as part of the Araca Project, an initiative from producers the Araca Group.

Based on stories from Neil Gaiman's novel "Fragile Things," October in the Chair & Other Fragile Things is, according to press notes, "adapted from short stories by award-winning author, Neil Gaiman, October in the Chair & Other Fragile Things is a five actor, 25 character show, with original music, masks, puppets, replete with all the macabre mischief & child-like wonder of Mr. Gaiman's writing. After premiering the show in Amsterdam, OSR [Old Sound Room] will be making their off-Broadway debut. With support from the powerhouse NYC-based marketing and producing entity, the Araca Group...[the production] will have a week-long run at the American Theatre of Actors in the heart of midtown Manhattan, appropriately enough, just in time for Halloween."

The cast will feature William DeMeritt, Laura Gragtmans, Jack Moran, Michael McQuilken, Elia Monte-Brown, Fisher Neal, Daniel Reece and Adina Verson.

Solomon Weisbard will design lights, Elizabeth Barret Groth will design costumes and scenery.

Exact performance times will be announced at a later date.
