Vilma Ebsen, who, with her more famous brother Buddy, danced through three Broadway shows and one Hollywood musical, died March 12, 2007, at the Thousand Oaks Health Care Center in California. She was 96. Vilma and Buddy, who specialized in an athletic, loose-limbed sort of soft shoe, made their Broadway debut in the musical Whoopee, according to the Hollywood Reporter. They then danced in a 1932 revue called Flying Colors to the songs "A Shine on Your Shoes" and "It Was Never Like This."
