Heath Lamberts

Heath Lamberts, the character actor and farceur known for many classic roles in major North American theatres, as well as for creating Cogsworth in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, died in Pittsburgh Feb. 22, 2005, according to friends and colleagues. The cause of death was cancer, friends said. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Mr. Lamberts, 63, had battled prostate cancer, throat cancer and complications.
