London’s “The South Bank Show Awards,” which was held Jan. 26 at the Dorchester, boasted the first public performance of the title song from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical, Love Never Dies.
Sierra Boggess, who will star in the upcoming musical, performed the title song accompanied by composer Lloyd Webber and Louise Hunt on two grand pianos.

Some may remember that this tune originally premiered in 1998 in “Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration.” Also penned for a Phantom sequel, the original title was “The Heart Is Slow to Learn.” Opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa sang the composition at the Lloyd Webber celebration.
