SYNOPSIS: A sailor sent his only child to live on a farm, so that she would be spared the sorrows of the sea. But her life on land was not an easy one, and after hardships that include a stint in a whorehouse, the young woman finally seems to find peace on her father's boat. But when she meets a handsome young sailor, she decides she must come clean about her past -- sending herself, her father and her lover into turbulent waters.
