Our Town

Our Town

SYNOPSIS: Lyrical drama about two ordinary families living in adjacent houses in sleepy Grover's Corners, N.H. in the early years of the 20th century. With deceptive tranquility, the play chronicles the tiny details of American life in its daily cycle: waking up, having breakfast with the family, going off to school and work. But underneath, the play questions what it's all about, and expresses, at times, a spiritual terror of what may lie behind it all -- particularly as one young woman faces marriage, childbirth and death.
