SYNOPSIS: From the early vaudeville days of Bert Williams to Broadway today, Shuffle Along stars Los Angeles character actor Arthur L. Ross in a musical journey of the black actor, struggling to escape the minstrelsy of blackface and take the Broadway Stage.
