SYNOPSIS: Stage adaptation of 1952 MGM musical about comic chaos in Hollywood during the transition from silent films to sound. A glamorous but witchy screen diva will do almost anything to keep the public from finding out that she speaks in a screechy Brooklyn accent -- and to keep her leading man from falling for a sweet young starlet. Score includes "Moses Supposes," "You Are My Lucky Star," "Good Mornin'," and the splashy title song.
