SYNOPSIS: In the first act of this Andrew Lloyd Webber-Don Black-Richard Maltby, Jr. musical, Emma, an aspiring English hat designer, moves to New York and experiences four affairs in a one-woman song cycle. In the second act, one of her boyfriends, a Nebraskan computer salesman named Joe, experiences New York through dance.
