SYNOPSIS: On April 9, 2015, following months of student protest, the bronze statue of colonialist Cecil Rhodes was removed from the University of Cape Town. To document their experience from inside the movements that led to its dismantling, seven drama students devised THE FALL, getting to the heart of how race, class, gender, power and history’s voices intersect as colonialist and patriarchal icons are dismantled across the world.
