SYNOPSIS: This comic fable set in the "spring of next year" has been transported from the streets of Paris to modern day New York City where we meet a group of powerful men who are plotting to seize oil reserves that belong to others. And they are willing to destroy homes, neighborhoods and countries to get them. The complacent citizens of the "sane" world ignore the threat, but the disenfranchised are called to action by Countess Aurelia and her three mad friends. In a crusade against greed and materialism, these Madwomen enlist the-people-who-live-on-the-streets to oppose the powerful and return joy, justice and love to the world.
