Susan’s dish picks: New England clam chowder and seafood paella
Deriving its name from those late-night flights “linking America’s cultural hubs,” Redeye Grill boasts an ultra-chic
ambience. On entry your eyes are drawn to the stunning mural of Hollywood greats, and columns painted with New York scenes. Not unexpectedly, executive chef Marc Grossman’s sensibilities fuse the best of both coasts. The menu has tempting appetizer and entrée specialties such as Peking duck quesadillas, cumin-crusted yellowfin tuna sashimi, seafood paella, clay-pot roasted Chilean sea bass, miso glazed salmon steak, sirloin burgers, veal schnitzel and Redeye’s famed Hollywood cobb with lobster. There’s also handcrafted sushi and tapas.
The extensive wine list includes half bottles and 15 by the glass. There is a full bar as well.
