In a city dotted with a goodly number of Brazilian restaurants offering the traditional (and very filling) Rodizio experience, this is undoutedly one of the very best by virtue of its authenticity, glamorous setting, professionalism, and high level of foodstuffs offered.
Rodizio refers to the near-staggering parade of skewered Cuts of beef, pork, chicken and lamb that are brought to tableside and custom-cut to your specifications by obliging, carefully trained waiters. These meats are unfailingly tasty and of the finest quality obtainable- they keep coming and coming until the special disc at each patron's table is fiscally (and reluctantly) burned over indicating "Uncle!"
An incredible plus is the salad bar, which is unlike any we've seen elsewhere. Brimming with market specialties of the day, it's a constantly changing array of delectable dishes that's proffered gratis, as a prelude to the Rodizio. Continually replenished to ensure both freshness and eye appeal, it's an amazing repast in itself. our only caveat: Don't stuff yourself too early!
We suggest starting with a glass of Caipirinha, the Brazilian cocktail which aptly sets the tone for pleasures ahead- Plus, it's prudent (despite the temptation) to reserve space for the glories of the dessert cart. (These savories are not included in the value-oriented price, but they're well worth it).
A phone call to Churrascaria Plataforma will provide cheerful answers to your queries including price structure, the live music schedule, etc. Due to its proximity to so many Broadway theatres reservations are a must, particularly for dinner and at lunch on matinee days.
