This $12.5 million two-theater complex debuted in the summer of 2006. The 299-seat mainstage is known as the "Max" in honor of donors Maxine Isaacs and James A. Johnson; the even more intimate 99-seat "Ark" theatre is named for donors Arlene R. and Robert P. Kogod.
