Highlights From Stephen King and John Mellencamp's Ghost Brothers of Darkland County

A new musical thriller from horror icon Stephen King (book) and rock legend John Mellencamp (music and lyrics), Ghost Brothers of Darkland County makes its world premiere at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre. It stars Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley (Young Frankenstein) and Emily Skinner (Billy Elliot) as Joe and Monique McCandless, a couple concerned for their feuding sons Drake and Frank, played by Justin Guarini ("American Idol," Women on the Verge), and Lucas Kavner. When the family returns to the old vacation home where Joe witnessed a horrible tragedy forty years earlier, the ghosts of that fateful night emerge. Directed by Alliance Theatre artistic director Susan V. Booth and with musical direction by T Bone Burnett, Ghost Brothers runs through May 13. For more on the show, click here.
