Playbill’s style expert George Brescia met up with his good friend Kate Baldwin at Darling, a West Village boutique that he calls his “secret weapon.” Baldwin will be performing her show Extraordinary Machine later in the month at Feinstein’s/54 Below, so why not figure out a hot new look for the stage? With the help of Leah Hofman (she and Baldwin were castmates in Broadway’s Big Fish), Brescia displayed some of the season’s popular looks including suede, metallic fabrics with rousching, a dark navy blue trench coat, sexy stilettos, and more. Inspired, Baldwin joined in on the fun and dressed in a casually stunning ensemble specifically selected for her features.
