September's "On Stage Across America" visits Salzburg to take a look at look at the history of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, the film adaptation of which was filmed on location in this Austrian locale. Frank DiLella investigates the city's connection to the show and takes a look at a current German language theatrical production, an extensive sightseeing tour that visits the film's locations and an ongoing marionette theatre production featuring the voices of Broadway performers Jonathan Groff and Christiane Noll.
