News 13P to Honor Lucas, Parks, Vogel and Wellman at Joe's Pub May 11 The Obie Award-winning 13P (Thirteen Playwrights) company will celebrate the work of Craig Lucas, Suzan-Lori Parks, Paula Vogel and Mac Wellman at Joe's Pub on May 11.

The 7 PM evening, which includes the presentation of "The First (and Last) Annual Thirtini Awards," will feature members of 13P honoring the work of playwrights and mentors who have inspired them.

Soho Rep artistic director Sarah Benson (Blasted) directs the evening, which will be hosted by Well playwright and performer Lisa Kron.

Playwrights Craig Lucas (The Singing Forest), Suzan-Lori Parks (Topdog/Underdog), Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive) and Mac Wellman (Two September) will be in attendance for the Joe's Pub event.

13P comprises playwrights Sheila Callaghan, Erin Courtney, Madeleine George, Rob Handel, Ann Marie Healy, Julia Jarcho, Young Jean Lee, Winter Miller, Sarah Ruhl, Katherine Ryan, Lucy Thurber, Anne Washburn and Gary Winter.
