13th Street Repertory Theatre celebrated founding artistic director Edith O'Hara's 100th birthday with a line-up of new play readings over the weekend. The celebratory events kicked off Friday, April 15 and concluded Sunday evening, April 17.

The downtown theatre was founded by O’Hara in 1972 and is now led by artistic director Joe Battista. It is home to the longest Off-Off-Broadway play, Israel Horovitz’s Line, now in its 40th year.
