Carolee Carmello, who played Lucille, the heroic wife of Leo Frank in the musical, Parade, has been nominated for Best Actress (Musical) for the role.

Carmello is known to have one of the clearest and most alive voices in musical theatre. At Lincoln Center, she appeared in Hello Again, winning an OBIE Award. On Broadway she was seen in City of Angels, Falsettos and 1776. She sang national tours of Chess, Big River, Falsettos and Les Miserables, and Off-Broadway is known for Das Barbecu, john and jen and Jewish Rep's I Can Get It For You Wholesale.
