Previously on Broadway, Hernandez has designed The Tempest. Hernandez has had a long relationship designing for The Public Theater, where he designed Macbeth, Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, The Tempest(Delacorte Theater), Blade to the Heat directed by George C. Wolfe (Audelco Award); One Flea Spare, Dancing on Her Knees directed by Graciela Daniele; The America Play (American Theater Wing nomination).
