Arthur Miller is the author of many acclaimed plays, including Death of a Salesman, which is up for a best revival award this year. His other works include A View from the Bridge, The Crucible, All My Sons, After the Fall and Broken Glass.
Miller -- for many years out of favor with the critics -- has enjoyed a renewal of interest in his career in recent years. Recent revivals of Bridge, Sons and the current Salesman have proved hits, and Off- Broadway's Signature Theatre Company devoted its 1997-98 season to the playwright's work. His most recent piece, Mr. Peter's Connections, debuted there last season, with Peter Falk in the lead.
