News 20th Anniversary Production of David Drake's The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me Will Star Chad Ryan Chad Ryan will star in a 20th anniversary production of David Drake's The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me in Chicago.

Presented by Glitterati Productions, previews will begin June 20 with an official opening the following evening. Performances will continue through July 1.

The production, directed by Andrew Souders, features new material penned by Drake.

David Drake made his playwriting debut in June 1992 with the semi-autobiographical one-man play The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me at New York's Perry Street Theater. Playing a year Off-Broadway it became one of the longest-running solos shows in New York and won Drake a Village Voice Obie Award, two Dramalogue Awards and a Lambda Literary Award nomination. To date, Larry Kramer has received nearly 100 independent productions worldwide in the USA, England, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, France, New Zealand, and has also been translated into Greek, Spanish, Portuguese and French. The 2000 film version of Larry Kramer aired on HERE TV and is available on DVD.

The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me will be performed at Luna Central, 3914 North Clark Street.
