The 24-hour process begins the night before the performance when performers, composers, directors, choreographers, music directors, musicians, and production staff gather for a brief orientation before beginning to create their musicals at 11 PM. The following morning, actors receive their roles, and directors, choreographers and musicians begin rehearsing—and in the evening, the musicals are performed in front of an audience.
