Leading the tally are The Sound of Music and 3 Musketiers with seven nods apiece. The latter is a home grown musical produced by Dutch theatre magnate Joop van den Ende and directed by Paul Eenens. The two men are also responsible for the Rodgers and Hammerstein revival. All 13 nominated musicals are currently playing in the Netherlands.
