News 42nd Street To Kick Off CA Music Theatre's '98-'99 Season Oct. 9 SAN GABRIEL, CA -- The Music Theatre of Southern California's 1998-99 season will kick off Oct. 9 with a production of 42nd Street at the San Gabriel Civic Auditorium.

SAN GABRIEL, CA -- The Music Theatre of Southern California's 1998-99 season will kick off Oct. 9 with a production of 42nd Street at the San Gabriel Civic Auditorium.

The other three musicals being offered next season by MTSC's resident company are My Fair Lady (Feb. 1999), The Desert Song (May) and Forever Plaid (July).

The MTSC enters its 15th season in the fall. Each of its shows will run three weeks at the Civic Auditorium. And beginning this May, (with Kopit & Yeston's Phantom ), MTSC will add a fourth weekend for each production at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA.

"We're thrilled to be expanding, to serve our audience surrounding Glendale and the San Fernando Valley, giving even more people the opportunity to experience our full Broadwaystyle productions," said M. Roger Locke, executive director of MTSC.
