News 42nd Street's Wopat Offers Chicago Concerts March 21 & 22 Tom Wopat, who is currently starring on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of 42nd Street, will offer three concerts at Chicago's Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in March.

Wopat will perform a variety of pop and Broadway standards at his Chicago engagement on March 21 (8 PM) and March 22 (4 and 8 PM). Concertgoers can expect the former Annie Get Your Gun star to wrap his rich baritone around songs by Harold Arlen, Hoagy Carmichael, Frank Loesser, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim and other famed composers. Tom Wopat received a Tony nomination for his role as Frank Butler opposite Bernadette Peters in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, and now stars as Julian Marsh in the aforementioned 42nd Street revival. His other theatrical credits include I Love My Wife, Carousel, City of Angels and Guys and Dolls. Perhaps best known for his seven season run on "The Dukes of Hazzard," Wopat has also released several albums with CBS and Capitol Records.
