News "60 Minutes" Show on Hamilton Is a Ratings Bonanza The Nov. 8 episode of the CBS-TV magazine show "60 Minutes," which featured a segment on the Broadway musical Hamilton, drew the highest ratings for the show in nearly a year, according to Nielsen.

The show scored 15.8 million viewers, the show's largest audience since Jan. 11, 2015. It was the fourth highest-rated TV show for the week, and the top-rated non-sports program for the day.

According to CBS, "60 Minutes" also made Nielsen's top 10 broadcasts in several key demographics. It finished #9 in adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and #10 in adults 18-49 (2.7/08). The broadcast ranked #4 in households, scoring a 9.7/15.
